	Acolyte | Acolytes have helped with worship services since 250 AD. The word “acolyte” means a “companion” or “one who helps.” An acolyte is a youth who helps the pastor perform various tasks in the worship service such as lighting and extinguishing the altar candles, helping with the offering, and assisting in the Communion distribution. Youth who are interested in serving as an acolyte may contact Pastor John at (561) 738-5433.
	Altar Guild | Altar Guild members serve both before and after worship services in the setting up and putting away of the Communion vessels, posting hymn numbers, and preparing for Baptisms as they are scheduled. For information about serving on the Altar Guild, contact Barbara at (561) 732-6812
	Board of Directors | The Board of Directors is a ministry that has serves others in a broader capacity. If you’d like to serve in a particular area of this ministry, please contact Pastor John (561) 738-5433, or Jeff Smith, Chairman (561) 523-3203.
	Choir | The choir meets weekly on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. from September through May. Under the direction of our organist, the group performs regularly during the Sunday morning worship services, and provides special arrangements during the Church’s holidays. If you are interested in lending your voice, contact Dave at (561) 732-4143.
	Coffee Hour | Hosts/Hostesses sign up to serve during our fellowship time following our worship service each Sunday morning. If you enjoy the company of others, consider signing up for a Sunday on the sheet where the coffee is served. You may contact Debbie Fay (954) 895-3372 for additional information.
	Flea Market | Son Life hosts a community Flea Market the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Saturdays of each month. There are opportunities to serve for table rentals at 5 a.m., sales, and clean-up at 12:30 p.m. Email Lynn Mook to inquire where you may serve.
	Newsletter | Son Life’s “LifeLine” newsletter is published every other month. Any articles and submissions you are interested in contributing are due by the 18th of January, March, May, July, September, and November to Pastor John at pastorjohnd@bellsouth.net.
	Pumpkin Patch | Our Pumpkin Patch is open from mid-October to Halloween. There are opportunities to serve in unloading pumpkins when they arrive or taking a sales shift. It’s a great way to meet people and make new friends. Contact Pastor John at (561) 738-5433 or John Sehar at (561) 732-5831.
	Prayer Chain | Are you a “Prayer Warrior?” If the Lord has moved you to lift up others in prayer, then the Prayer Chain is the ministry for you. To get involved, contact Lynn Mook at (561) 315-7675.
	Reader | The reading of God’s Word is an important element of our Sunday morning worship. Each week, members and friends of Son Life read the Old Testament Reading and the Epistle Reading, which, together with the Gospel Reading, formulates the theme for Sunday worship. Material is provided ahead of time. If you would like to serve in this ministry, please contact Martin at (561) 523-8649.
	Stephen Ministry | Stephen Ministers provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care and support to people experiencing grief, divorce, cancer, job loss, loneliness, disability, relocation, and other life difficulties. To serve in this area, or to learn more about the Stephen Ministry, contact Cay at (561) 369-0499.
	Sunday School Teacher | Sunday School Teachers share the love of Jesus through the stories of the Bible with children from grades K – 2 and 3 – 5. Easy to use lesson plans and student activity material are provided. Sunday School runs on a quarterly basis from September through May with a summer break. If you are moved to share God’s Word with children and would like to join our team, contact Pastor John at (561) 738-5433.
	Usher | Ushers serve each week during the Sunday worship service distributing worship folders, greeting as folks enter the Lord’s House, collecting the offering, and guiding communicants during the distribution of Holy Communion. To serve in this ministry, contact Martin at (561) 523-8649.
	Vacation Bible School | Son Life conducts Vacation Bible School each year during the second week of June (pending the end of the school year). We hold it in the evenings from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. for ages 3 – 12. If you enjoy crafts, decorating, teaching, assisting, serving snacks, or keeping things organized, we would love to have you on our team.
